First of all, please do have a good Christmas and for 2020 all my best wishes, especially to all of Chain’s Volunteers, truly Unsung Heroes. Chain is 43 yrs old in 2020, well done to all.
Are you fed up with Brexit? Did our ex-MP do us proud in switching sides (West Berks) did vote for LEAVE? Isn’t it about time MP’s stopped trying to destroy our country with their antics. I think we must be the laughing stock of the world!
Oh dear yet another well known name (as I write this) has just gone to the wall, Mothercare.
Many years ago I used to own a Radio & Television shop (Povey & Wade Ltd) and although our rates were extremely high we still had to pay extra for our rubbish! So please do support our local independent shops, help them to survive, costs time & money to go out of town.
Why is it that I see in our daily paper that households in other counties have about 5 re-cycling boxes + 2 wheelie bins, but our West Berks Council has 3 and the only plastic has to be BOTTLE shaped, no caps or sprayers to be included or trays that say re-cycle me.
Thanks & Best Wishes David Piper (Editor)
