It is never too late to have your flu jab!
The importance of a seasonal flu vaccination cannot be underestimated and you are entitled to a free flu jab if you fit into one of the following ‘at risk’ groups:

Aged 65 and over / Aged between 6 months and 65 years of age and in a clinical risk group * / All pregnant women / Those in long-stay residential care homes or other long-stay facilities / Those who are the main carer of a family member or friend
* If you are unsure about your eligibility please call the surgery on 01488 682507 to check with a receptionist and make an appointment.
We have a good stock of vaccine and appointments only take five minutes so please call us today and protect yourself and those around you from this infectious viral illness.

Our new(ish) surgery website is up and running and contains a wealth of information as well as access to our on-line services. Patients can also use the ‘ASK A DOCTOR A QUESTION’ facility to contact their doctor if they have any non-urgent queries. Please note this is only monitored during normal opening hours – 08:00 to 18:30 Mon-Fri and we aim to respond to all such questions within five working days.

Enhanced Access to GP Services
The doctors at Hungerford Surgery will once again be offering additional same-day access appointments throughout the winter months of November, December, January and February to help reduce the demands on the Accident & Emergency (A&E) and Out of Hours services.

We wish all patients a peaceful festive season and happy and healthy new year
