Church Services for June 1st to Sept 1st 2019
Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church
Canon Peter Turbitt who has driven from his parish in Wantage to serve us for ten years is retiring, we will all be very sorry to see him leave as he has devoted himself to looking after our Catholic congregation in Hungerford and was instrumental in pushing forward our long awaited new church for which we will all be eternally grateful!
Canon Peter’s last Mass in Hungerford will be on Sunday September 8th at 9.00am.
The Diocese has made the decision to link Our Lady of Lourdes Hungerford with St. Francis de Sales Wash Common where there is to be a new priest in residence Father Zbigniew.
Father Zbigniew will we think say his first Mass for the congregation at Our Lady of Lourdes on 15th September at 9.00am but this has yet to be confirmed so please look at the notice board on the car park side of the church.
We hope that Our Lady of Lourdes will continue with 9.00am Sunday Mass.
The phone number for the presbytery at Wash Common is 01635 40332
